Alexandre ESCUDERO

Manager of BONSAÏ SHOHIN
Founder of the BONSAÏ DO and AÏKA-EN schools
Alexandre Escudero was introduced to bonsai in the 1990s through his mother, but it wasn’t until the 2000s that he developed a serious interest in the art and began training under skilled professionals. Three key figures have greatly influenced his work with trees: Mr. Hiroyuki Tanibata, from whom he learned in Japan at his Shoukaen garden, as well as here in France over a period of five years; Frédéric Chenal, who welcomed him into his garden for seven years as an unconventional apprentice; and Marco Invernizzi, with whom he has been working for the past three years.
