Our unique setup features three cameras filming simultaneously in 4K at 24 frames per second. This system allows us to switch between wide, medium, and close-up shots to capture every detail of the demonstrations with clarity and precision, as if you were right there with the instructor.

A word from the platform's creator ...

Alexis Bouras is the founder of the FaitesDuBonsai platform. He discovered bonsai in the spring of 2016 and, driven by a desire to share his journey, launched the YouTube channel Alexis fait du bonsaï in late 2017. This initiative has given rise to a growing community united by a shared passion and an accessible approach.

Thanks to our dual expertise in bonsai and video production, we are now able to offer online courses that are educational, inspiring, and visually stunning.

Is there a time limit for taking a course I've purchased?

Once you've purchased a course, it's linked to your account and you have lifetime access to it; there's no time limit on when you can view it. This is useful if you don't have time to complete the course all at once, or if you want to revisit a specific lesson later.

Do you absolutely need a desktop computer to take the courses?

No, the site has also been optimized for viewing on mobile devices such as tablets and smartphones.

Does the Aika-en SERIES subscription give access to all the à la carte classes?

No, the Aika-en SERIES subscription is separate from the à la carte courses; it provides access to a large library of video episodes, with two new episodes added each month. However, Aika-en SERIES subscribers receive a 20% discount on all à la carte courses (a discount code is available within the Aika-en SERIES course).
